PLANS to construct an outdoor riding manège linked to existing stables in Burton-in-Lonsdale, have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
The scheme, proposed for land at the residential Longber Barn, off Longber Lane, will include landscaping. The proposed manege will measure 20 metres by 40 metres and be for the sole use of the owners of Longber Barn. It will not be lit and will be surfaced with a mixture of rubber and sand.
Other applications received by the council include: Proposed front extension to form new porch and extend existing at kitchen at Glenburn, Netherghyll Lane, Cononley; Proposed conversion of former private detached garage to form annexe at Cross Green Farm, Lothersdale; Two storey side extension and single storey rear extension at 1 Woodfield Drive, Low Bradley.
Creation of new field access at on land next to Brock A Bank, Keasden, Clapham; demolition of existing rear conservatory and outbuilding and construct new single storey rear extension together with porch to front entrance at Hill View, Cross Haw Lane, Clapham.
First floor extension and window alterations to existing house at Lingah House, Baxter Wood, Cross Hills; single storey side extension at 60A Barden Road, Eastby; first floor bedroom and en-suite extension, with balcony, over existing garage and alterations to front porch at 38 East Lane, Embsay.
