THE West Craven Sports Centre in Barnoldswick has been recognised for its excellent customer service for winning platinum in this year's Member Experience Awards.

It is joined by Pendle Leisure Trust, which runs the centre, along with centres in Colne and Nelson, which also won a platinum award in addition to 'best member experience'.

Luke Allwood, health and fitness manager at Pendle Leisure Trust, said: "To win such a huge award for the second year running is amazing but to be awarded a higher level as well is fantastic, especially as this is voted by our very own members at Pendle Leisure Trust.”

And Quammer Iqbal, the trust's operations manager, added: “These awards are a testament to the continuous hard work that all our staff do on a daily basis, making sure our gym users get the best customer experience possible. These awards are only possible due to our fantastic members – it is a pleasure to welcome each and every one of them to our facilities and we’re proud of the role we play in our local communities."

The awards recognise and reward health and fitness clubs, leisure centres, gyms, and golf clubs across the globe for their delivery of excellent member experience, and are given out to those which continually excel in their customer’s satisfaction. The results are based on the surveys Net Promoter Score (NPS) conduct to all its members of all the centres across the globe.
