COMMUNITY singers The All Together Choir are looking forward to entertaining people at events, nursing homes and concerts across the area in the coming months.
The choir, which has branches in Skipton, Baildon, Bingley and Harrogate, has a charitable trust which has chosen four charities, nominated by its members, to support this year. They are Skipton Step Into Action, Harrogate and District Food Bank, Ilkley-based children's charity, Moor Time, and Bumblebees Mixed Ability Rugby.
Led by Chris Kemp, the choir's first gig will be on March 5 at the Good Shepherd Centre, Keighley followed by a return visit to Steeton Court Nursing Home. The choir will also perform at Bingley Arts Centre, and at Piece Hall, Halifax as part of the Anne Lister Birthday Festival as part of 12 performances between now and the end of the year.
New members are very welcome. The Skipton branch rehearses on Thursdays at the Trinity Methodist Church, Duckett Street, at 10am.
