DISCOUNT Sports Skipton is celebrating after being nominated in The Yorkshire Choice Awards 2024.
The shop, in Rope Walk, is up against the very best in the county for the best customer service award - which will be decided by public vote.
The awards, which will be announced at a gala dinner in June, celebrate and recognise outstanding contributions and achievements across the Yorkshire region in categories also including independent business of the year, new starter business of the year, and charitable business of the year.
Tony and Ruth Eidsforth, owners of Discount Sports Skipton, say the nomination is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and success that the business has achieved over the past five years.
"We would like to express our gratitude for the nomination and say thank you to everyone who has supported the business throughout its journey. In March we will be celebrating our fifth birthday; we are excited to confirm we have signed another five year lease on our premises on Rope Walk," they said.
The public vote will play a pivotal role in determining the finalists and winners of the coveted awards. The results will be revealed during the Gala Dinner on June 7. Discount Sports Skipton is hoping its customers, supporters, and the community to take part in the voting and help it come home with the award.
Voting closes on April 12: https://www.yorkshirechoiceawards.co.uk/votehere Ambitions Gymnastics, in Skipton, has also been nominated in the best customer service award category.
