A SCHEME to build a new three-bedroom house within the conservation area of Chapel Hill, Skipton, has been lodged with North Yorkshire Council.
Proposed for a 'vacant residential garden space' next to 5, Chapel Hill, the scheme proposes the removal of three 'low quality' trees including two protected medium sized Scots Pines that have 'grown unchecked' since the 1990s, says submissions with the application.
In submissions with the application, it is stated that the proposed two storey detached home would have its own detached, single garage, off street parking for two cars and a lawned/landscaped garden area at the front. Access is proposed for the existing shared private driveway.
The new building would replace a fire damaged dwelling on the site, the remains of which would be fully demolished.
