PLANS to convert a house in Broughton Road, Skipton to separate apartments has been given the go-ahead by North Yorkshire Council.
The scheme by the Sanctuary Housing Group will see the conversion of 24 Belle Vue Terrace to three apartments.
In a design and access statement submitted with the application, on behalf of the applicant, it is stated that the work will include the conversion of the loft space and a proposed dormer window to the second floor.
It states: "The site will have very few external changes and none that will be visible from Broughton Road. All external additions are proposed to the rear of the site facing the Leeds and Liverpool Canal."
Belle Vue Terrace was built in the 1860s as part of the Dewhurst’s Mill development.
