THE second anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine by Russia on February 24 was marked in Glusburn by messages of support by both adults and children.
A spokesperson for Craven District of Sanctuary said: "Supporters of Craven District of Sanctuary wanted Ukrainians to know they are not forgotten by citizens in this country and collected messages of support written on card.
"With the help of Debby Richardson, Centre Manager of Glusburn Community and Arts Centre, messages were placed on the railings outside the Institute. Children from Glusburn Community Primary School added some of theirs as well."
People were invited to pause and read the messages when passing the arts and community centre in Colne Road.
