NOOR Uddin and his team at takeaway Usmaniyah in Barnoldswick are busy preparing for the town's second community Iftar.
Hundreds of people of all faiths are expected to join the community event which will take place at 6pm as the sun goes down on Monday, March 18 in Barnoldswick Town Square.
During Ramadan Muslims fast during daylight hours and break their fast at sunset with a meal called an iftar.
Last year's open-air event was attended by several hundred people who heard about the traditions of the Muslim faith from local Imans before joining in the iftar, prepared by Usmaniyah, once the sun set.
The Islamic month of Ramadan is expected to start either on Sunday, March 10 or Monday, March 11, depending on the sighting of the crescent moon, which determines the start of the holy fasting month.
