A £1,000 donation from a Dales grocery shop will help fund well-being workshops in schools.
The Rev Peter Thomas, from the Craven Schools Partnership, was very pleased to receive the donation from Laura Robinson, manager of Dales Market Square in Grassington.
The shop is part of the Nisa independent grocers group - which offers a programme called ‘Making a Difference Locally’.
The schools partnership has recently applied for charitable status and is launching a new programme of well-being and creative workshops across the 20 schools currently receiving Peter’s input. The offer is now being extended to businesses and individuals in the area.
Peter said: “Improving your mental health will change your life. This is an exciting opportunity for us to continue to reach out across the local area, our workshops and sessions are fun, interactive and stimulating."
