PEOPLE of all ages have taken part in workshops at Skipton's Craven Arts Centre examining decoration from the town's historic buildings.
Organised by Skipton Civic Society, a dragon, green man, angel and a pigeon were among the details that have been examined, from such places as St Andrew's church, a shop doorstep, the library and a nearby house. More than 40 people took part in the workshops which involved reproducing the historic features in paper, textiles and embroidery.
An exhibition of the work will be included in the Skipton Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) grand finale at Skipton Town Hall on Saturday March 30. It will include a cultural celebration, from 1pm to 4pm, a cinema showcase, from 6.30pm to 8pm, and Craven Match in Concert, from 8.30pm to 10pm.
