BIRD lovers can enjoy a guided tour of Strid Wood at Bolton Abbey with Ian Court, wildlife conservation officer for the Yorkshire Dales National Park this month.
People are invited to immerse themselves in its sunrise symphony as the woodland fills with early morning bird song.
Ian will help identify the diverse array of birds living within the woods while providing greater understanding of the meaning behind the many different calls. Spring sees the woodland come to life as birds start preparing their nests and dawn is the perfect time to see and hear the birds as they busy themselves while enjoying a morning sing song.
Strid Wood's sunrise symphony takes place from 6.30am to 9.30am on Sunday April 28. Numbers are limited, book online at https://boltonabbey.com/
