ADDINGHAM Allotments and Gardens Association returns on Saturday (April 20) with its first spring flower show for five years.
The association's 40th spring show and coffee morning, last held in 2019, will feature more than 20 classes covering flowers and plants, floral art, photography and baking as well as a section just for children from the village primary school.
Held in Addingham Memorial Hall, entries are on show day, between 8am and 9am, with admission to the public from 10am. The event will close at midday with a raffle draw and prize presentation.
Peter Cooke, show secretary, said: "After the successful return of our summer annual show last year we’re delighted to be bringing back our spring flower show.
"Potential exhibitors should note that this is a friendly village show, the standards are not intimidatingly high and that everyone is welcome and encouraged to enter. So have a go and you never know; you may just end up walking away with a certificate or two and a bit of prize money. And even if you don’t want to enter, please do come along, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a chat and check out all the displays’.
Show schedules can be collected from the village hub or on the association’s website www.addinghamaga.org.uk
