POLICE say they have increased patrols in the Glusburn Park area after the public toilets were targeted by vandals.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police (Craven) said officers were working with the parish council following reports of criminal damage.
"Four windows have been smashed with stones, a cubicle door has been ripped out and thrown outside, and a toilet cistern has been damaged," said the spokesperson.
"We are working with the parish council and there will be increased patrols in the area."
Anyone with any information is asked to call the non-emergency 101 number, and quote reference number 1224 006 8126. Information can also be given online to North Yorkshire Police, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
