SKIPTON'S Hotel Rendezvous has a new manager - and he can't wait to usher in a new era.
Amaze Hotels, which has recently taken on management of the Keighley Road hotel, has appointed James Cunningham as manager.
"I am so looking forward to ushering in a new era at the hotel. I cannot wait to welcome all guests, local and from further afield, to this wonderful canal side property," said James. "The provision of excellent food and an excellent stay all delivered with excellent service is my primary focus. Exciting times are ahead for the hotel."
The new management team aims to make the Rendezvous 'Skipton's hotel', and a place to stay, eat, drink and relax.
A new feature is the well received 'sparkling afternoon tea' with an 'early bird' dining offer next to be introduced.
Maria Watton-Graham will still be singing and dancing the night away every Saturday night but with some great new drinks offers to enjoy, says the hotel, which also aims to be the area's first choice for weddings and events.
James has more than 30 years experience in the hospitality business, including eight years working with Michelin-starred Michael Caines, managing the Harvey Nichols Second Floor Brasserie in Manchester, as well as launching the first restaurant of MasterChef 2015 winner, Simon Wood.
Most recently, he was the manager of Amaze Hotel's Ruthin Castle Hotel and Spa in Wales.
