Travel experts have unveiled the Yorkshire Dales as the seventh most beautiful of Britain’s national parks.
The study by the travel experts at Bounce analysed UK national parks on their social media posts, Google searches and customer review data to reveal the UK’s most beautiful national parks.
The Yorkshire Dales scored 5.36 out of 10 in the study, coming in seventh place behind New Forest in Hampshire.
The Yorkshire Dale is seventh on the list with 800,755 posts on Instagram, 45,000,000 views on TikTok and it has 565,000 Google searches for “Yorkshire Dales”. It also has an average Google review score of 4.2.
The Lake District was crowned the most beautiful national park in the UK, scoring a perfect 10 out of 10.
It took the top spot for all four factors in the index, scoring particularly highly for TikTok views at 525.2 million and Instagram posts with 4,220,863.
The 4,770,000 searches for “Lake District” are also double that of second place, and it shares the top spot for Google reviews with an average score of 4.9/5.
The Peak District National Park ranked second with 9.29 out of 10.
The Derbyshire park has more than 2.2 million Instagram posts, 272.1 million TikTok views, and 2.2 million Google searches for “Peak District”.
The park also scores an average of 4.8 for its Google reviews.
