POLICE believe there are no suspicious circumstances after the body of a man in his 70s was found in Skipton on Saturday morning.
Craven Street was closed from its junction with Keighley Road to Tesco and people both in vehicles and on foot were advised by police to seek alternative routes after emergency services dealt with what was described at the time as an incident.

“Officers attended and they found a body of a man in his 70s. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his death, but we don’t believe that there are any suspicious circumstances. “
