MEWIES Solicitors in Skipton has strengthened its family law department with a new appointment.
Rachel Davies, an experienced family lawyer, has moved from another Skipton law firm to join the long established Mewies Solicitors, based at Clifford House in Keighley Road.
Rachel, who lives in the Skipton area, will be working alongside Angela Green, head of family, and the rest of the family team at Mewies.
Rachel has experience in all areas of family law including divorce, financial and children matters.
She said: “I am delighted to have joined Mewies Solicitors. I am really looking forward to working with Angela and the team and continuing to work with clients in the local community.
"I feel that Mewies Solicitors is the ideal place to hone my expertise and progress my legal career.”
Mewies Solicitors was first established in Skipton in 1960 as J. P. Mewies & Co.
Its lawyers offer a wide range of both private client and commercial services including conveyancing, wills and probate, family and divorce, employment law and dispute resolution.
