A COACH at Skipton Juniors FC recently completed an impressive feat to help raise funds for the club's new clubhouse at Sandylands in Skipton.
In late April, Tom Robinson and his team climbed Ben Nevis and canoed the entire 118.5km of the Great Glen Way, all in the name of supporting their beloved juniors football club.
Tom, who coaches the boys U10s team, conquered Ben Nevis in just five hours and spent four days canoeing the Great Glen, with each night being spent wild camping. Throughout the entire journey, Tom's football was by his side, a true symbol of his commitment to Skipton Juniors FC.
He said, "I wanted to do something big to help raise funds for our new clubhouse. Skipton Juniors FC is like a second family to me, and I'm proud to support the club in any way I can."
Tom raised £628 towards the new clubhouse, ensuring that Skipton Juniors FC has a top-notch facility for players of all ages to enjoy.
