MALHAMDALE artists will be staging an 'art in the Dale' exhibition from Thursday (June 20) to Sunday at St Michael's Church, Kirkby Malham.
The exhibition will feature the work of Katharine Holmes, Beverley Hicks, her father Peter Hicks, and her daughter Phoebe Scott; Stephen Waterhouse, Fiona Armer, Jane Midgley, Mark Pilkington, Cindy Metcalfe, Josh Morris, Judy Metcalfe, Annabelle Bradley, and members of the Malham Art Group.
The wide range of original work on display and for sale will include etchings, drawings, textiles, stained glass and wrought-iron work. There will be a focus on the work of Malham blacksmith, Bill Wild, who died in 1984. The current Malham blacksmith, Annabelle Bradley, will present a talk on Saturday at 4pm. 9am to 6pm all days, apart from Sunday, 10am to 11am.
