Things to do this summer

For those who love a wholesome day of walking across rolling hills, finished off with a delicious meal out on the terrace, The Lister Arms in Malham is the ultimate countryside destination.

Malham’s Tarn is a nature reserve consisting of 147 hectares and is one of the best places to see a natural lime-rich lake, the tarn, in the UK. It’s the highest limestone lake in Britain, and at 380m above sea level, it provides an array of species including the great crested grebe, moorhen, tufted duck and teal.
