Rivers Edge Country Park
Let us introduce you to our sensational five-star park in the stunningly beautiful location in Ingleton, the gateway to the dales. Our park is nestled in exquisite surroundings with our lodges situated in locations with space, private parking, within breath taking scenery. The site occupies 52-acres set away from the country lane entrance where we have an owners-only bistro, a woodland walk, a meadow and our famous riverside promenade.
The Brook House is nestled next to our tranquil babbling brook. Owners can experience a menu of delicious home-made classics, created from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Open all year round, adjacent to the meandering River Greta, our wildlife is a feature of our park. Imagine waking up and seeing deer, otters and a multitude of fabulous species of birds, from your very own holiday home.
Much of the park is within sight of the river and the majestic sweeping views of Ingleborough in the near distance. As a dark skies area, we are lucky that our evenings often rival our days when gazing around this fabulous environment.
Our award-winning park offers owners and visitors the best in British outdoors. Local attractions include the Ingleton Waterfall Trail, White Scar Caves, the Ribblehead Viaduct and Ingleborough mountain. The Yorkshire Dales are one of six international Dark Sky Reserves in the UK, where stargazing events are regularly held to view the Milky Way. If all this isn’t enough, we are 30 minutes from England’s largest National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lake District. It is safe to say, with so much to do, we offer a lifetime of enjoyment, all within reach of the lovely Rivers Edge.
When you have enjoyed enough walking and the outdoors, we have the county towns of Kendal, Skipton, Hawes and Settle within easy reach by car where you can enjoy some local retail therapy, indulge in some of the fabulous food outlets. In this area we have award winning cheesemakers, the famous Wensleydale Creamery, there are excellent ice cream parlours and farms to be found, and of course, we must mention, some of our best loved microbreweries and brewery tours, not too far away. All in all, we are regularly described as the park that has it all.
