Police appeal following theft of Jaguar (Image: NYP)
POLICE are asking people to keep an eye out for a Jaguar car that was stolen from Long Preston on the day of the general election.
The black coloured E-Type Jaguar, with the registration number, SV18 YCY, was stolen from Main Street during the early hours of Thursday July 4, say police.
Anyone with any information about where it may be is asked to email: colin.irvine@northyorkshire.police.uk; or call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two and ask for PC Colin Irvine.
