PEOPLE in Skipton are being invited to take part in community litter picking events taking place between now and the end of the year.
Organised by Skipton Town Council, the first is due to take place on Thursday July 25 and the last on December 17.
The litter pick on July 25 will start at 6pm with people asked to meet on the corner of Moorview Way and Shortbank Road.
On August 23, people are asked to meet at 2pm at Burnside Recreation Ground, and on September 24, it will be at 6pm in Belle Vue Square, off Broughton Road.
On October 27, a session will take place from 10am outside Greatwood and Horse Close Community Centre; at 10 am on November 22 at Skipton Bus Station, and at 1pm on December 17 outside Broughton Road Community Centre.
