EARLY bird discounted tickets for next month's Kilnsey Show have gone on sale.
Discounted tickets for the Dales premier agricultural show which takes place on Tuesday, August 27, will be available online until August 20, after which tickets will be for sale at the gate.
A spokesperson for Kilnsey Show said organisers were expecting another great turnout at this year's event.
"We have another great show planned for you this year, showcasing the best of the British countryside. Alongside the legendary crag races and cattle, sheep and equine classes people know and love, a day at Kilnsey Show offers an abundance of trade stands and food vendors to enjoy, plus fairground rides, kids’ activities and exciting demonstrations of working dogs, falconry, sheep shearing, drystone walling and more."
This year's event will see the introduction of children’s horticulture classes, hobby horse competitions and more. And back for its third year, an evening watching the increasingly popular 'Kilnsey Speed Shear' is a great way to top off the day, say organisers. Tickets at: https://www.kilnseyshow.co.uk/
Gargrave Show takes place on Saturday, August 17; Malham Show and Sports takes place on Saturday, August 24 and Bentham Show is on Saturday, September 7.
