FREE family days out in the Dales countryside are taking place in August.
The Eco Explorer day camps, which have been running for several years, are back again this year and will take place at Lower Winskill Farm, above Langcliffe, near Settle.
Organised by Churches Together in Settle and District, the nature-related activities include a wildflower nature walk, geology trail, art and craft activities, stream dipping, treasure hunts, and more. There will also be a picnic, stories and songs.
The camps start at 10am and finish mid afternoon, with activities taking place in a barn, if the weather is wet.
The camps will take place on Wednesday, August 28 and on Thursday, August 29. They are organised by Churches Together in Settle and District and this year have been supported by Settle Rotary club.
Places are free, but must be booked and an adult must stay with the children. Registration forms by email from Judith Allinson at: judithallinson22@gmail.com
