AN annual classic car show held at The Cavendish Arms in Embsay attracted a good crowd of car owners and enthusiasts, and also raised £475 for Cancer Research UK.
The sixth annual 'Classics at The Cavendish' show saw owners battle it out for the Pat Douggen trophy, named after the pub landlady's sister, who worked in the motor industry and who died in 2019. Pat, who often worked at the pub,was involved in the England Women’s Rally Team in the early 1990s.
This year's winner of the award was Gordon Pickles with his 1955 Standard 10. The event also included a number of book and craft stalls selling a variety of items including bags, cushion covers and mugs.
Organiser, Joe Pugh, said this year's event was the busiest ever and thanked everyone for coming along.
