A green-fingered gardener has raised a sizeable sum for Airedale Hospital & Community Charity over the last year by opening his garden to the public.
Stephen Clemence, who manages Greystones Garden in Cross Hills, has donated £403.20 to the charity over the past year.
Over the past few years, he has raised more than £1000 for various causes.
His sunken garden is home to climbing and herbaceous shrubs and perennials, water features, an alpine rockery, small trees and a walkable rose border.
Greystones Garden is open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
Viewings can be booked directly with Mr Clemence on 07967 807 108, with tea and biscuits arrangeable as well.
Mr Clemence said: "I really enjoy welcoming people into the garden and seeing the inspiration take hold when they see it, especially when they realise the space is only 12x11m.
"I’d like to thank all the visitors who have spent time admiring and enjoying the garden and coming with me on this fundraising journey, in particular Colleen and Cath for their continued support of the garden."
After Perennial, Sight Airedale and Airedale Hospital & Community Charity, Stephen's next beneficiary will be Haworth RDA, a charity that helps people with physical and learning disabilities by providing horse riding and stable management lessons.
