THE director of a Silsden-based housebuilder has won a prestigious award for the quality of the company's new homes.

Andrew Snell of Snell Construction secured one of only 449 Pride in the Job 2024 Quality Awards from NHBC for his work on a 22-home development at Brow Top in Glusburn.

Snell Construction has already sold seven homes on the site.

The three, four, and six-bed properties have natural stone exteriors, high specification interiors, Indian stone-flagged patios, and stone walling.

Mr Snell said: "I’m pleased that the consistent high standards of our work have, once again, been recognised by the NHBC.

"I thank my brother and parents as well as our long-standing and loyal staff, whose hard work and attention to detail allow us to maintain our quality reputation and deliver such great homes."

Independent sales agent, John Shaw FRICS, said: "A Pride in the Job award is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive.

"We know house hunters won’t be disappointed."

Andrew's parents launched Snell Construction in 1977, later passing the reigns to Mr Snell and his brother John.

Other recent developments include Cobbydale Way in Silsden and Lumb Mill Farm in Glusburn.
