A CHILDREN'S book writer dropped in to the Stripey Badger book shop in Grassington to sign copies of her latest book.
What a Little Star is the latest book by Eva Le Bon, who worked for many years as a psychotherapist at Grassington Medical Centre and also at Airedale Hospital in its child and family service.
Her latest book, with illustrations by Gail Yerril, features ducks, a moon and a 'child you know' and is an ideal gift for a new baby, for a birthday, or for celebrating a child's first steps.
Eva, who now lives in Devon and has been revisiting her old home, said: I have loved every minute of my trip down memory lane and even more so seeing ‘What a Little Star’ in Stripey Badger-it’s a feeling of landing home.I hope lots and lots of children will enjoy being a little star to someone somewhere-and enjoy this keepsake to return to again and again."
She added: "Another exciting development for the story is that the cottage industry Wee Woolly Wonderfuls have been busy designing crochet kits and patterns for Little Star fans round the world to make - they are the five characters in the book."
What Little Star is available at The Stripey Badger as well as online.
