SETTLE Parish Church was the setting for a Teddy's Olympics family fun day on Saturday.
Teddies in their best Olympic outfit entered a competition and tried their luck on a zip wire from the church tower. There was also a teddy themed graveyard treasure hunt, a barbecue, teas, stalls and a bouncy castle.
A spokesperson said: "It was a super community event and we are enormously grateful to all the amazing people who supported us both locals and holiday makers who saw the bunting, heard the music and smelt the bacon, burgers and sausages. Special thanks to the local businesses which donated raffle prizes: Drake and Macefield, The House that Jack built, Creative Hair Studio and Wholesale Bee. Also thanks to friends who sponsored the musicians, The Retrolettes'. We were pleased to share the event with local crafts folk too. The "Giggleswick Bears" and Josie's spinning wheel created much interest."
