MEMBERS of Skipton and District Parkinson's Support Group will be at the town's Morrison's Supermarket at the weekend raising awareness of the condition.
The team will also be raising funds at the event, which will run on Saturday (August 10) and Sunday (August 11) from 10am to 3pm.
A spokesperson for the group said: "This follows on from a successful event in 2023, where people were incredibly generous; any funds collected will help with both research and support for people living with Parkinson’s.
"Members and volunteers will be giving up their time for the event, so please take the opportunity to chat to them if you want to find out more about Parkinson's or share your own experiences."
The spokesperson added: "Special mention goes to the Morrisons Skipton team, for hosting this event."
