IT was a dry and sunny day for Ingleton Horse Show and Gymkhana with more than 120 horses and ponies and their owners doing their best to win a rosette.
Held once again at Lawsings Brow, Keasden, thanks to Mr Horner, there were four rings with a full day of classes, junior ridden, senior ridden, in-hand classes and showjumping.
The show's Adele Horner, said: "We had a fantastic day, it’s great to see so many new faces as well as familiar ones, for such a small show it was it really has turned into something so special.
In addition to the main classes, there was a fancy dress parade and a hobby horse version of the Grand National. There was also firm favourite, the Chase Me Charlie competition, a jumping challenge with the jump getting higher each time it is cleared; and the Horse and Hound contest, involving, horses, riders and dogs.
Adele, on behalf of the organisers, thanked everyone for their support, the judges, stallholders, sponsors and organisers of the fun dog show. All the money raised this year will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Ingleton community groups and St John’s Hospice.
Show supreme champion won an overnight stay for two at the Plough, Lupton. Other prizes included vouchers, cash, rider wear, and equine and canine products.

Senior In-hand Champion - Katy Harvey and Billy The Kid; Senior Reserve In-hand Champion -Izzy Ridding and Firbank Whitby Jet; Junior In-hand Champion -Darcee Harvey-Brown and Soldanella Dandini; Junior Reserve In-hand Champion - Jessica Stancliffe and Synod Miss Sapphire.
Chase me Charlie: Maisie Howarth and Barnaby. Star Rider: Isabelle Thompson. Local Rider: Lily Lawson and Poppy. Horse and Hound: Holding their title were Emma Wallbank and Rosie the dog, and Amy Wallbank and Prince the horse.
The fun dog show saw a great turnout of different breeds of dogs on the day but taking the best in show was: Will Lewis with Jack Russell Frank, and Beth Jenkins with Border Collie Dora.
