SKIPTON Girls High School is celebrating a 'superb' set of results from its A-level students.
More than a quarter of the students at the Gargrave Road school achieved an average grade of A* or A, says the school.
Headteacher, Martha Featherstone, said: “Skipton Girls High School staff would like to congratulate our 2023-2024 cohort of students on their many achievements over their time with us, including their A-level results that reflect their dedication and commitment to learning.
"We wish them the very best as they move onto their next stages, whether that is university, a higher-level apprenticeship, employment or a gap year. Not only have they achieved superb results academically, but as a group they have been ambitious, creative, and compassionate in all their endeavours. We wish them well and look forward to hearing more about their next steps.”
