GIGGLESWICK School says it is 'delighted' to share its pupils' A Level and BTEC results, as grades improved year-on-year and students prepare for a variety of exciting futures.
A*-A equivalent results increased by nine per cent among the cohort compared to 2023, while A*-C grades at the independent school were up six per cent, to 89 per cent overall.
Sam Hart, headmaster, said: "In a year that saw a positive effort to return to pre-pandemic grading, I am delighted to see our percentages of A*-B and A*-C equivalent grades have increased once again.
"The results reflect a determined, hardworking and resourceful cohort of Giggleswick pupils, who have strived to reach their full potential.
"I am pleased to see pupils heading off to destinations such as Durham, Exeter, Salford, The Royal Northern College of Music, as well as degree apprenticeships with Jaguar Land Rover, the Ministry of Justice, and BAE Systems.
"The diversity of courses, from Law, through Architecture to Biochemistry and Sport, is fantastic.
"As a school that focusses on tailored pathways and excellent academic outcomes for each and every pupil, I am confident that we have supported our leavers in preparing them for the next stage of their journey."
A total of 46 students took their A Levels at Giggleswick School this year, with students' next steps including studying Automotive Design at Coventry University, Liberal Arts at Royal Holloway, Biochemistry at Exeter University, Accounting and Finance at Durham University, and Popular Music at The Royal Northern College of Music.
