PLANS to reuse and extend a modern barn to create a home at Town Head Farm, Henbusk Lane, Newby, Clapham, have been submitted to North Yorkshire Council.
The application also seeks planning permission for use for storage purposes of a cart shed, and of a shippon for a plant room and store.
Other applications recently validated by the council include: Detached single storey store for garden equipment and materials, with integral summerhouse at 4 West View, Cowling; prior approval notification for multi purpose agricultural building at Lower Bawes, Edge Farm, Cowling; demolition of existing porch, and construction of new porch at 2 Raines Drive, Low Bradley; proposed front porch at Bailiffs Court, Hainsworth House Farm, Kildwick.
Also: Proposed replacement garage, parking area and oil tank / log store building at Church Hall, Gill Lane, Cowling; small scale agricultural style building in replacement of existing steel containers and timber lean-to structure of a similar scale at Gill Barn Lane, House Road, Cowling; two proposed camping pods at Stoneley Barn, Mewith Lane, Mewith, Bentham; detached single storey double garage with ancillary accommodation, including change of use from agricultural field to garden curtilage at Nanny Barn, Leeming Lane, Burton-in- Lonsdale; re-pollard three Sycamores at 3 Garden Holme, Thornton-in-Lonsdale.
