SKIPTON Girls High School is celebrating after more than 70 percent of its GCSE students achieved top grades.
Headteacher, Martha Featherstone said: "Congratulations to all of our students and their families on this incredible milestone in their education. Their hard work and dedication have paid off and we are proud of each and every one of them. Over 70 percent of students achieved top grades of eight or nine, and there were over a hundred grade nines achieved overall. There is much to celebrate and most importantly, these outcomes allow our students to progress to their next stage of education with confidence and pride."
Head of Sixth Form, Michael Blythe added:" GCSE outcomes provide an important foundation as students embark on the next stage of their education and students from Skipton Girls High School are certainly well equipped for their next steps. We look forward to welcoming so many of our students back to our sixth form for the next exciting stage in their education and are delighted to be welcoming students who will be new to our school too."
