Business owners in Craven are being given the opportunity to transform their operations through a newly launched business support programme.
Part-funded by the government's Shared Prosperity Fund, the Leadership Excellence and Development (LEAD) Programme is a six-month course offering workshops, coaching, and consultancy to businesses across North Yorkshire and York.
The programme is designed to nourish leadership skills, improve team performance, and drive growth.
Half of the programme's cost is covered by the government's funding, administered through North Yorkshire Council and City of York Council.
David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, said: "The LEAD Programme represents a remarkable opportunity for business owners in our region to access high-quality leadership training at an affordable rate.
"This initiative underscores our commitment to supporting local businesses and fostering their growth.
"I encourage all business owners to take advantage of this transformational programme and invest in their future success."
Andrea Morrison Coaching, one of the key elements of the programme, has received positive feedback from participants.
Business owner Lucille Bleekers, of Nutri Clinic York, said of her experience: "Unable to move forward in my business as I was unsure of what direction to take and held myself back with lots of negative thinking, I enrolled on Andrea's coaching programme.
"The sessions were truly transformational, and I am now far more aware of how my thinking has been sabotaging any progress I make.
"I now feel lighter and have a clearer picture of where I want to be with my business.
"Andrea has a wonderful way with words and breaks it all down for you in an easy-to-grasp and enlightening way."
The LEAD Programme is open to all business owners in York and North Yorkshire, regardless of sector.
