A CROSS Hills Tennis Club member is preparing for a dawn 'til dusk tennis marathon.
Adrian Firth will perform the endurance feat on September 21, with fellow club members, and anyone else who would like to participate, serving as his rally partners.
There will also be refreshments, a barbecue from approximately 11am to 1pm, and a bouncy castle from 10am to 2pm.
The event follows the recent tenth anniversary of Cross hills Tennis Club's clubhouse and tennis courts.
The club has gone from strength to strength, competing with more and more teams in the area, introducing coaching from Kinetic Tennis, and developing its junior membership.
Club members congregated on Thursday, August 15 to celebrate the anniversary with a glass of Pimms and a game or two of tennis.
All money raised from Mr Firth's tennis marathon will go to Manorlands Hospice, the club's charity.
