POLICE are reminding car owners to take steps to avoid being a victim of crime following reports of suspicious behaviour in Cowling.
Overnight police patrols have taken place in the village following reports of males 'looking into cars' at night.
A spokesperson for the Craven Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Patrols have been tasked to the area overnight; please ensure your vehicle is locked and valuables removed, and report any suspicious activity."
