A DALES care home worker is walking an hour every day in September to raise money for charity.
And, Claire Boocock will be joined by residents of Barchester Healthcare's Threshfield Court care home, Threshfield, where she works, to carry out the Dementia UK challenge.
Claire, activities co-ordinator at the home, said she and the residents would be walking a total of 30 miles during September by walking around the gardens of the home.
"I’ll be walking a mile a day with all my wonderful residents here at Threshfield Court Care Home.
"What better way to show our love and support to Dementia UK than spending an hour a day walking a mile a day round our wonderful garden at our home.
"If anyone of our family, friends, neighbours, local community would like to come along and join us for a stroll. That would mean the absolute world."
