An acclaimed pianist is set to kick-start Skipton Music's 2024-2025 concert season on Tuesday, September 24.
Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, of the musically talented Kanneh-Mason family, was named as one of Classic FM’s ‘Rising Stars' and was a finalist in BBC Young Musician 2018.

Frank Finlay, chair of Skipton Music, said: "We are delighted once again to be welcoming internationally renowned artists alongside award-winning younger musicians in concerts that showcase a wide range of instrumental and vocal groups and soloists."
Ms Kanneh-Mason's programme is set to include Scarlatti's Sonata in F Minor, Chopin's Sonata No 2, Scriabin's Sonata No 2, and Prokofiev's Sonata No 7.
The event will take place in Skipton Town Hall.
