THE owners of a Dales bar have handed over the proceeds of a weekly fundraising draw to the Cave Rescue Organisation.
Steve and Elaine Booth, and Ian (Tog) Witherspoon, of the Old Manor House bar in Clapham run a draw every Monday with the winner and runners-up getting free drinks.
It also raises money for different charities with the latest £1001 going to the Clapham based CRO.
Elaine said: "Congratulations to our regulars for raising a fantastic £1001 for the Cave Rescue Organisation and special thanks to Janet, Sue and Gloria for running the charity draw on Mondays."
The next good cause to benefit from the Monday draw will be Clapham Playground.
Elaine, Steve and Tog took over the Old Manor House bar in December last year. It is open every day apart from Tuesdays and Wednesdays; on Fridays and Saturdays it is open from 2pm to 7pm; and on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays, from 2pm to 6pm.
