AN all-female business consultancy has pledged support to the children's charity, The Principle Trust.
Craven Consultancy, based in Embsay, has become a patron of the Skipton charity, which provides respite breaks to underprivileged and disadvantaged children, as well as those who are disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma, or abuse.
Led by managing director Liz Brewster, Craven Consultancy offers health and safety, HR, and training services, as well as software, to SMEs across the country.
The company recently hosted Skipton Expo.
Ms Brewster said: "We are delighted to partner The Principle Trust and support their work helping disadvantaged families to escape their everyday troubles and create precious, happy memories."
Mike Davies, founder of The Principle Trust, said: "Thanks to the generosity of businesses like Craven Consultancy, The Principle Trust can continue to support some of the Yorkshire region’s most disadvantaged families."
Since its establishment in 2011, The Principle Trust has raised more than £1.7 million and provided respite breaks for more than 5000 children from the Yorkshire region.
In 2024, it will provide up to 232 families with a week-long respite holiday, at locations in Blackpool and Windermere.
