AN Embsay couple who moved from London to make their home in North Yorkshire are today (Thursday) marking their 60 years diamond wedding anniversary.
Cliff and Milly Bravery were married exactly 60 years ago today on October 3, 1964, at St Mary's Church in Croydon, Surrey.
They first met in 1962 and after dating for two years, decided to tie the knot.
Cliff was a mechanical engineer for London Transport for 25 years before joining his son, Neil, in the tool and plant hire industry.
Milly has been a dedicated home maker and mother, raising their two sons, Neil and Mark. She has a passion for baking, which delights her grandchildren and family alike.
Cliff and Milly are proud grandparents to four grandchildren: Matthew, Isabelle, Edward, and Thomas.
The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in beautiful North Yorkshire, and in 2017, after 55 years in South London, decided to up-sticks and move to Embsay to be closer to family.
Cliff has a keen interest in antique clocks, while Milly pursues her love of baking, as well as visiting local shops, and pursuing her interests in sewing and haberdashery.
Their family wish them many more years of love, happiness and cherished memories, and congratulations on 60 years of marriage.
