A NEW incentive scheme will see up to £31,500 offered to homebuyers to boost deposits.
Bellway will provide up to five per cent of the purchase price as part of its scheme, which runs until Thursday, October 31.
The offer is available on select properties across Bellway’s developments in the region - including in Skipton and Skelton.
Two people who have already benefitted from a contribution offer from the developer are Sebastian and Joanna Adamczyk.
The couple, as first-time buyers, put the contribution towards the purchase of an apartment at the Copperhouse Green development in Dartford, after having rented for more than 10 years in London.
A £13,673 contribution from Bellway added to their own £19,995 worth of savings, and gave the Adamczyks a 10 per cent deposit.
The couple, who moved into their new home in July, said: "It all worked out that with the deposit contribution from Bellway we were able to afford to buy the apartment.
"The specification and finish of this home is of the highest quality which makes it feel like we are living in a five-star hotel all the time.
"We actually moved into this apartment – our dream home – on July 19, which was our tenth wedding anniversary.
"Living here is the best present we could ever have given ourselves.
"We now pay a monthly mortgage of £1,730 which is £20 less than the rent we were paying for the flat in Streatham and it is so much more stylish and more energy efficient."
Melanie Smith, Bellway Yorkshire’s sales director, said: "We would encourage anyone who might benefit from this deposit contribution to get in touch."
Bellway said that, due to their energy efficiency, its new-build houses could save homeowners an average of more than £2,000 per year on their energy bills when compared to an older property of a similar size.

Ashberry Homes, which is part of the Bellway Group, will be running a similar offer at its two developments in Yorkshire, with more information available at www.ashberryhomes.co.uk.
