A COMMERCIAL analyst at Skipton-based Holt Doctors has been placed second in the world in recent accountancy exams.
High-flyer Harry Farnell, picked up two awards at The Piece Hall, Halifax at a prestigious conference of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Harry, 23, was amongst a small group of high achievers to be recognised by the organisation for outstanding results.
He received one award for being placed second in the world for the November, 2023 sitting of the CIMA operational case study, an exam taken by thousands of people across the world; and a separate award for achieving the highest overall score across four exams in the 'operational level' in the north east of England.
Phil Nardone, commercial director at Holt Doctors, a leading supplier of permanent and temporary doctors, said: “Harry is an immensely talented individual who works extremely hard. This is an outstanding achievement, and we are all very proud of him, and I know he has a very bright future ahead of him.”
