POLICE have launched an appeal after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash with a car in Skipton.
The crash took place just after 2pm on Saturday (October 5) when an Audi car and Ducati motorcycle collided on Grassington Road, Skipton.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
In a statement, a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We're appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious collision in Skipton.
"It happened at about 2.10pm on Saturday, October 5, on Grassington Road, Skipton, and involved a black Audi car and a black Ducati motorcycle.
"The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
