TWO men have been arrested following a violent altercation on a Skipton street on Friday evening.
Police have reported that one man was injured in the violent altercation between three men on Newmarket Street, Skipton, shortly after 7pm on Friday (October 4).
Police have an appeal for witnesses to the incident.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We’re appealing for information about a violent incident that occurred in Skipton.
"It happened at about 7.15pm on Friday, October 4, on Newmarket Street, and involved a violent altercation between three men, one of whom sustained head injuries.
"Two men, aged 20 and 29, have been arrested and released on bail in connection with the incident.
"We’re particularly appealing for any witnesses who saw the beginning of the incident.
