POLICE have issued an appeal after a car failed to stop following a collision with a pedestrian on a Skipton street.
The collision involving a white Toyota Yaris and a pedestrian, took place at around 5pm on Sunday, October 6, on Newmarket Street. The female pedestrian suffered injuries to her arm.
"We’re appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a road traffic collision on Newmarket Street in Skipton.
"It happened around 5pm on Sunday, October 6, and involved a white Toyota Yaris and a pedestrian, and as a result the pedestrian sustained injuries to her arm.
"The driver did not stop and exchange details with the pedestrian.
"We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
