EMBSAY & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway are inviting families to experience the magic of The Polar Express train ride this Christmas.
This holiday season the enchanting world of The Polar Express will come to Yorkshire as a local steam railway has beautifully recreated the charm of the beloved 2004 motion picture.
Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway will bring Chris Van Allsburg’s timeless tale to life.
Family members of all ages will be captivated by the sights, sounds and wonder of this cherished children’s story.
Guests, snug in their cosiest pyjamas—just like the characters from the story—will be warmly welcomed aboard The Polar Express to share in the spirit of Christmas.
As the train sets off, iconic moments from the movie spring to life.
Singing and dancing chefs will serve up delicious hot chocolate and scrumptious cookies, followed by a reading of Van Allsburg’s classic tale.
Characters will showcase beautiful illustrations from the book, allowing the entire carriage to follow along as the story unfolds scene by scene.
When Santa and his cheerful elf arrive, each guest will receive their very own silver sleigh bell—the ‘first gift of Christmas’.
As the familiar sounds of Christmas carols fill the air, the train will make its way back to Bolton Abbey.
The Polar Express departs from Bolton Abbey Station with performances from November 15 through to December 24.
